TRANSLATING & PROOFREADING:
• Obtained the Diploma in Translation of the Institute of Linguists in London in 2004 (English to French - Business & Law) - Currently Member of the Institute of Linguists.
• Education both in France and in the UK gives me a good knowledge of English and French.
• Education (Bachelor of Arts, Masters of English Linguistics & CAPES) have given me the opportunity to develop my skills to translate literary documents.
• Experience in teaching and writing for children gives me a solid background to translate educational material.

• Freelance writer for Mary Glasgow Magazines Scholastic: writing articles and teachers' notes for magazines aimed at teenage pupils learning French ("Chez Nous" & "Ça va"), in French and in English. Examples of what I have written include articles on controlling the Internet, text-messaging, the education system, Paris and one-page fictions.
• Freelance writer for the Guardian's educational website (www.learn.co.uk): writing whiteboards.
• I have written a novel for children entitled "Le Pacte des Bouffons".
TEACHING & TUTORING:
• Taught French in England to all year levels (Year 7 to Year 13) including GCSE level and AS/A Levels.
• Form tutor for a Year 7 class.
• Facilitated a French club once a week.
• Worked as a tutor for agencies in London and as a self-employed tutor in the Midlands. Taught French to adults as well as 5 to 7 year-old students.
• Taught English as a foreign language in France in a secondary school working in a Z.E.P: teaching all year levels (6ème to 3ème).

• Helped facilitating a "newspaper" club with the students: our aim being to publish a newspaper about the school every term.
